Edinburgh Quilt Shops
It was my birthday on Friday and my DH has surprised me with a trip to
Edinburgh. We are flying up on Thursday for a long weekend so I need to know if there are any LQS's worth visiting. We will be staying very central ( Princes Street) and we wont have a car....... TIA Flossy Malvern England ***** Queen of Plaids ****** http://www.flossy.net |

Hi,
There's a branch of John Lewis in the St James centre which is at one end of Princes St, but they don't specialise in quilting stuff. There's also "the embroidery shop" in William Street at the west end, but I think they're also a general needlecraft shop and not specifically quilting. Have a lovely weekend in my home town! morag "Flossy" wrote in message ... It was my birthday on Friday and my DH has surprised me with a trip to Edinburgh. Oh I almost forgot Jenners!
Jenners is Edinburgh's answer to Harrods and is well worth a browse around. If I remember correctly they have a haberdashery/fabric section on the lower ground floor. morag "Flossy" wrote in message ... Hi,
there used to be one at Tollcross I think, but we're going back about 10 years. Not sure if it's still there. There's one in Oxford though so it's not like the whole chain has closed.
