I've been an electrician for 29 years, and a knot tier for a bit longer still, and I've not heard of this, but then I guess it may be a regional name. What country are you in? Horse's tail
..I've seen sparks using chain knot, to make a sennit and drop that over the side of a building, preventing it snarling up halfway down in a total rats nest. They didn't have a name for it though. |
