Earthquake in CA
I was just watching Good Morning America and they did an interview with a
mom and her daughter who owned a gift shop in Paso Robles which was completely destroyed by the earthquake there. The daughter had just gotten a shipment in of quilts and was putting them out when the quake hit. The shop was leveled, but mom and daughter escaped. No word on the quilts, but I am assuming they were lost along with all of the other shop items. -- Alice in NJ, Royal Cybrarian www.ourcyberfamily.us "Animals are such agreeable friends - they ask no questions, they pass no criticisms." My fabric collection came through the '89 Loma Prieta quake without a scratch, even though it came off the shelves. lisae |

Let's hope they were as lucky. There wasn't much left to the shop.
