Default Earthquake in CA

I was just watching Good Morning America and they did an interview with a
mom and her daughter who owned a gift shop in Paso Robles which was
completely destroyed by the earthquake there. The daughter had just gotten
a shipment in of quilts and was putting them out when the quake hit. The
shop was leveled, but mom and daughter escaped. No word on the quilts, but
I am assuming they were lost along with all of the other shop items.

One advantage of quilts (and fabric) is that they are not breakable. My
fabric collection came through the '89 Loma Prieta quake without a
scratch, even though it came off the shelves.

Let's hope they were as lucky. There wasn't much left to the shop.
