Danielle,

I wish I'd been able to hang out longer and we might have mentioned this last
weekend..

Anyway, I have a couple of tricks in addition to Thread Heaven that make
filaments bearable..

As long as it doesn't affect the color (and there are a couple that it will,
but I don't remember numbers off the top of my head..) I strip out the carrier
thread, and use just the sparkly metallinc one.

The thing that REALLY helps me (I think) is to make sure that I use shorter
lengths, and fasten both the floss and the filament in the eye of the needle
with a larkshead knot.

I am using the
Kreinik's blending filaments, and I could never get them to stay with the
floss in a blended needle, and I would put a project away for months at a
time because the stuff wouldn't do what I wanted!
