Sorry, I won't be able to send the block in time; problems in the family,
you know. Just the normal stuff when you got a toddler, and my DBIL is very
ill, they don't know if he'll make it. So my DSIL can't babysit DD yadda,
yadda, you know the whole rigmarole. Anyway, I'll post the thing a.s.a.p.,
OK?

We'll wait for it.
Right now we're just 'pinning' them to her bedroom wall as she still spends
quite a bit of time there with her foot up.

Take care of home first.

Oh, did you get many? I'm so curious - not many said they'd do a block, but
I guess the motto here is 'Do good by stealth..'. ;-) I only had to ask
those stupid newbie questions.

First of all, no 'newbie' question is stupid. We've all been there.
Since this is a 'public Hug" I will answer questions.
Right now there are 4 blocks on the wall. Each is quite different from the
one before. Each has brought a SMILE to her face.

Well, yes, the silliest question is the one not asked and the resulting
blunder. ;-) Ah, we had to do some 'loggin'; we've got a woodgas heating so
we have to get wood, cut the trunks into 50cm pieces and then split them.
Yesterday was a splitting day, and now my right hand hurts like hell. I hope
I didn't ruin it. Mind you, we've got a machine for that, but the chunks
were rather large and heavy, and I had to press the lever really hard to get
the machine going. Anyway, gonna sit down to finishing the block tonight
(knock on wood!) and then get it into the mail early next week.
