Did I turn invisible again or did anyone else see this? Re-posting it
because I wanted comments, suggestions, etc. One response just doesn't seem
right for all the words you all have to share.

Ok, first of all I know some of you don't like FMG but until I become
independantly wealthy, it's who I deal with (and since they're only about
200 miles south of me, delivery's quick) Just got their new add-on catalog
yesterday and they have 130 new colors of the japanese seeds I like so much.
Wah. Can't get them right now but man, do I want! Pretty sparkly colors.
As usual, there's a lot of junk in there (who wear's all that rhinestone
jewelry anyways?) but I mainly order the seeds from them. And the prices I
can deal with. Now, if I can just the the cc's paid off, I'll be a happy
camper! Don't think I'll be getting the 24k gold plated or the nickel
plated though. Couldn't justify the expense even though they'd add a nice
touch of WOW. Just wanted to share and whine a little about my economic
woes (poor, poor me)

Did I ever tell you I got the loooong bugles from shipwreck beads?
Beautiful! Now, why is it I keep picturing those lovely victorian beaded
lampshades? I honestly think I don't have enough beads for that unless I
just mixed them ALL up and did some weird abstract design.

And, I've lost my marbles! Had some beads set out to make some covered
marble earrings and my lovely chillun's took them. And I can't figure out
which one it was. I might find them if I get really lucky! Or at least
clean their rooms (yuck!!!!!) Got lots of things to make but no time to do
it in. A friend came over so as soon as she's able to get some sleep (in
this house, yah, right) Need to make a green bay packer lighter (x-mas
order so I have time)(and hoping I have enough dark green. 30 shades of
green and only ONE dark green, go figure), red, white and blue hearts, want
to make at least ONE ornament cover (bead and button but I'll probably
modify it) AND I need to fill my earring book. There's more (isn't there
always?) but that should keep my busy for a while.

You all take care and all that. Vibes to whoever needs them!

Helen C

I didn't have anything to say to it....the post doesn't seem to require an
answer. ???

because I wanted comments, suggestions, etc. One response just doesn't seem
right for all the words you all have to share.

Ok, I can live with that. I just feel so invisible most of the time.
Really need to get another scanner (cheap p.o.s. digicam has NO options and
I can't figure it out but what can you expect for $30?) Just been having a
few bad days and needed something positive (can't wait for a new med the dr
tried to get out of DH's system so he's back to 1/2 way normal but lets not
go there) Kinda cranky and sleep deprived but other than that, I'm doing OK
(really I am) (am I trying to convince you or me?) Want to bead but really
need to get more sleep. Ah, sleep deprivation inspired beadwork looks SO
lovely when you come to! (ACK! I can't believe I put THOSE colors together!
What was I thinking!?) But, with everyone else's trials and tribulations,
my problems are relatively minor so I can't complain TOO much.

COMPLETELY understandable. And I realize it's all some can do to even read
all the messages. Heal Quickly and Cleanly (and Completely) Don't get well
soon, feel better now!

It might have to do with these factors:

1) You don't post a lot -- just sporadically, with big time gaps in between.

2) To me, your posts usually report what's happening to you that day -- the
kids swiped something, DH's new meds, you need a new scanner (and more sleep),
etc. They're in report form, with no need for anyone to reply to them. I'm
sure we read them with amusement and affection, but IMO you don't seem to be
asking for replies.

I know I try to limit my responses on RCB because of the overload of posts
here.....

Helen, have you seen the beaded fringes with long bugles meant for trimming
lamps/whatever that are now for sale in the fabric and hobby shops? Some of
them are really rather lovely, but all are so inexpensive...I keep seeing some
poor beaders sitting far away and doing all that for ten cents a day, or
thereabouts--the cost barely covers the beads themselves sometimes! I mean,
less than five bucks for two feet of beaded fringe? I can't understand how...

Don't get out much so I haven't seen them. Met a lady that was making a
victorian-style dress and she had quite a few yards of different ones.
Pretty but not my style. I like the look of the ones you can sometimes see
in antique stores (as long as it's not that dusty rose color-just not
something I like) I mainly like the fringe. There's probably a machine to
help make the fringe. I wouldn't even want to imagine someone doing all
those yards and yards by hand. Definately a labor of love.

Thanks Sooz, I didn't realize I was that predictable/whatever that other
word I'm thinking of is. Glad it amuses. Guess I'm just not that much of a
"me too" kind of person. And it seems like everytime I do try to become
more "social", the computer goes down or some other stupid thing and I lose
my train of thought. That and there are a LOT of messages I try not to add
to the blather if I can help it. Now, if it's a question I can answer, I'll
be more than happy to put my 2 (or 3) cents in! Go ahead, ask me how to do
a peyote lighter cover!!!! I dare you G

Do you use 2-drop peyote? And do you have patterns or do you make up your own?
