Have you tried Opera? You can set it to allow or disallow all popups or
to allow only the popups you pop up. It's also a lot faster than
the latest Mozilla.

I was using Mozilla and I like it, but it locks up my machine
periodically, and unfortunately it does it on eBay, which I really
rather need to use. Sigh. I'm pretty sure it's the fault of XP, which I
despise. I am considering installing 2000. Still buying another Mac the
second we're out of debt! Then this one will be for shipping only and it
won't matter.

that bit is free with Mozilla.

I haven't paid any attention to her since "Who's The Boss?". But it's short!
Can't say I'm loving it but I'm getting used to it a little more every day.

Hmmm, my dearest darling seems to have installed Mozilla Firefox on my
computer, and my old Firebird is gone. I'll have to give it a try...

i don't honestly remember which update it was. it was listed as
"critical" and david and i both had problems after doing one and they
went away with the next one. relatively recent, i think. david's the
computer genius around here - i just do as i'm told when it comes to
windoze.

my version of Mozilla says 1.6. [under Help | about Mozilla]
