Branch fringe! Of course, you just can't see it in the pic. I don't know why
your things aren't selling - it sure isn't due to lack of beauty and design!

how you got the fringe through the shell so that the shell didn't slip

off -
or does it?

This is a half shell ("greenshell"), actually, not just a slice. The
fringe/tassel slips a bit, but pretty much holds the shell in place

because of
it's thickness-- I put some larger beads in the fringe, and did a few

branched
fringes just below where it comes through the crosspiece of shell. These

shells
were being sold as scarf slides.

I don't know either.... The "wooly worm" style bracelets sell well in person--
probably a combination of "oooh, fun!" factor + not too terribly expensive of
an "impulse" purchase. The RL "shop" gets a reasonable amount of "visitors",
and the page view stats show they are looking at items, and not just glacing at
the "home page", but purchases are few and far between. Other artisans are
complaining about the same thing.

This isn't the really feathery sort-- just an extra strand at the point where a
"fringe" passes through the cross piece, and not all of the "fringies" got one.
The "idea" behind it was to look like water flowing and/or pouring out of a
cornocopia....
