Hi everyone,

I've had problems with my e-mail, now need to set up
rec.crafts.textiles.needlework in Google, or G-Mail. Sorry, not too
computer literate but miss this group so much!! Any ideas how to do
this??

I read in Google Groups. Not always the best option, but it's free.

On my laptop which is still running Windows XP, I have a black bar of Google options. I click on More. Then Even More. Scroll down and find Groups under the Social tab.

I put "rec.crafts.textiles.needlework" in the search for groups box and it takes me to the right place.

Hope this helps!

I second Sheena's recommendation for eternal september. I read through
Google groups for the last few years and *finally*, with the help of our
IT guy at work, figured out how to get it set up through Mozilla on ES
again.

It's *so* much better this way!

I've registered with Eternal September (I've been using Google, but want to get back to a regular newsreader), and am using Firefox. My problem is finding the tab to set up the newsreader in Firefox. Any suggestions? I suspect I need to be using Thunderbird, but I'm obviously getting stuck on the most obvious of questions (like what is my news server address)
