Embroidery sites?

Hi all - I'm having trouble looking for sites on the web showing how to
do basic (and mebbe not so basic!) hand embroidery stitches - chain
stitch, fern stitch etc...

Are there any such sites out there in cyberland? Ideally ones with
interactive or detailed how-to pictures? I'm trying out some new ideas
with my quilting (and using the excellent Nikki Tinkler book "Quilting
With A Difference",) but am having trouble working out how to do some of
the stitches from one or two photos... dimwit or what...!
