Keep it in the bag Katherine, to be honest I never thought of that good job
I always wash the things I knit afterwards and put some conditioner in the
rinse..

The pub is a quiet one, on our estate, but I get so bored, unless I'm in
there to work, I get real bored when it is empty-ish. The landlord wants me
to take a wheel in, and let them all have ago at that. Yeah like I'm going
to...g

Thanks for the reminder of that one.....Anyone for smokey cheesy socks??

odd
looks, amongst the usual...." Mind you don't drop a stitch!" I don't

and
didn't care.....This week I popped up to meet DH for the last half and

hour,
and smirked to see another lady in there chatting and doing some

Cher no way...Noreen is sitting on top of all the stuff, that is being
moved, knitting away, she is not missing a stitch......righ Noreen. I can
picture it, Noreen sitting in the rocking chair....just like
Beverly-Hill-billies. LOL

And why not....I think it would be great...otherwise kumihimo braiding
could be fun as well. We used to belong to a sailing club and I found
hanging out in the bar there also so boring.....I used to bring a book and
hide in a corner.....my problem was that I did not drink any alcohol (the
two are a rotten combination, me and alcohol) I did not do any braiding
at that time, but lots of spinning. I would retreat to our boat and sit
and spin there. Lots of comments though

My my my, what have we started here. Sorry, I didn't respond sooner.
Unfortunately, Cher, I haven't gotten a chance to try your solution yet.
I've been tied up lately. It looks like Noreen won't be the only moving.
This morning I drove from my home in Carpinteria, CA to Lakeside, CA to look
at a place where I might start work. That means driving 214 miles just for
a job. It took me five hours of nasty heat and traffic to get there and
another five to get home. I just accepted the job tonight and hopefully
will be moving down there on Wednesday. Ahhh, the things I do for money.

Hi Laura, things have habit of going off at a tangent..still, it's
interesting the turns it takes.

No problem, just when you get around to it. Pity one can't drive and knit.
You'd have gotten this shawl finished..lol.

Hope your job move is what you want.

Now THAT would be something to see! Cher and her wheel, demonstrating to all

several pints! g

Good luck with the move, Laura, and the new job. Hope you'll still have time
to craft.
