Our last Seder is tomorrow. The kids are coming. The brisket is in the
oven, the desserts baked and today the Charoset, and Matzo Balls are on the list. To top it all off I am so sick. Some kind of Upper Respiratory thing that cannot decide wither to go into the chest or up into the head. No voice at all and I could so easily crawl back into bed and sleep the day away. I really wish the cats could be of more help, just listening to me complain. Sniffle, Linda in Tx |

HI KIm, 5 Apples of your choice. This year I am using Gala Apples, but
Grannie Smiths work well too. Walnuts, a medium package, cinnamon and some Manischewitz sweet wine (this year I could only find blackberry). Grind the apples and nuts. Toss well, add cinnamon to taste and add a liberal amount of wine. I just keep tasting until I like it. Usually prepare it the day before so it can marinate. I make lots so the kids can take some home. HTH, Happy Seder. Linda in Tx |

Thanks...looks like the same one i was using. Most definitely not "kosher
for passover", but I've used the leftovers as the filling for braided sweet bread.
