Default rubbery clay

I baked some very thin pieces of clay, probably 1/16 of an inch thick. I baked
them at 275 for 30 minutes. The items cames out flexible instead of hard. I
am using Premo Sculpey polymer clay. What did I do wrong?

Quick answer. You didn't do anything wrong.
Premo is strong and flexible when thin.

You expected it to get too hard, is your only mistake---polymer stay somewhat
flexible when thin, and Premo is very much so.
