Default baby boots size

Here I am with my never ending problems about measures and sizes...
sorry if I am boring...

I just made two very easy and lovely baby boots, using the pattern in
Italian from baronedirondo.com. I made them just for fun and because I
had never tried baby boots before, but then I relized that I could and
would like to give them to a DH´s collegue, who recently had a baby
girl.
The baby girl is now 3-4 months old and she is really BIG, never seen
such a big baby :-)
Now, the baby boots are about 3 inches long. Could they fit her feet or
are they too little for a 4 months old?

Hugs,

Anna Maria

Hate to say, those wouldn't have fit my DS when he was a newborn

Anna Maria,
IF they are s-t-r-e-t-c-h-y, they MIGHT fit, but only for a very short
time, if at all.
Nora's suggestion of donating them to a hospital where there are
preemies is a very good one.
Would you be able to translate the pattern in English and share it
with me?
Hugs,
Noreen

Thanks a lot Noreen and all other ladies for the advice. No hospitals
with babies around here (only geriatric care in the hospital in my town,
I think they would be a little surprised of my offer LOL), but I´m sure
that I´ll find a suitable receiver...

Here you have the pattern, I´ll try to translate it this evening:

Please drop me a note with your addy, since I don´t remember your real
full name (blondie moment, sorry).

Hugs,

Anna Maria

I just happen to have a 6 month old sitting on my lap and a tape measure on my
desk
3 1/2 inches from heal to the tip of her big toe. She is on the smallish side
for being 6 months .. sounds like 3 inches will be perfect!

My older daughter was a preemie, she is now 4. I just measured her inked foot
print ... it was 1 1/2 inches (actually a little less, but not much)

I measured the boots once more and they could fit 3,5/4 inches little
feet. But since that baby girl is really very big (she seems an angel
coming out from a Barocco ceiling :-), I wouldn´t risk to give something
too small.
If you would like the boots for your baby, just drop me your snail, I
would be pleased to send them yo you...

oh Anna Maria! you are so sweet
I hope you didn't think I was hinting at the baby boots ... I just happened to
have my little one sitting here and thought I would check for you.
I tried to email but it bounced back. What address should I use.
Thank you
~Kat

Kat, if I supposed that I wouldn´t have written (oh my goodness, English
grammar!) my message :-)))
Strange that your e-mail bounced back, my addy is as usual
.
Now I go and clear the box, maybe it was full...
I wait your message :-)))
