Butterfly,
(and others) I have "discovered" the 505 brand basting spray. No discernable
odor, even as you spray. lasts fairly long, and is supposed to wash out.

Pati, in Phx.

Thanks, haven't gotten any yet--but I think it would come in handy for a
lil thingie I have been wanting to work on, figure to start out small
and see what happens.

Butterfly, I don't notice any odor when using the basting spray. I spray
outdoors when possible, allow it to dry for about half hour, then quilt.
Works great! Nancycog in MD

I got a can of temporary basting spray when I bought my embroidery machine.
Sulky something or other (it's downstairs just now). Just yesterday I used
it to adhere tissue paper with a quilting design to my Thanksgiving Quilt.
It worked great. As soon as I was done machine quilting, I tore off the
paper and it came off with no problems, and no noticeable stickiness on the
quilt top either.
