Butterfly,
(and others) I have "discovered" the 505 brand basting spray. No discernable odor, even as you spray. lasts fairly long, and is supposed to wash out. Pati, in Phx. Butterfly wrote: Thanks, haven't gotten any yet--but I think it would come in handy for a lil thingie I have been wanting to work on, figure to start out small and see what happens. Butterfly wrote: Butterfly, I don't notice any odor when using the basting spray. I spray outdoors when possible, allow it to dry for about half hour, then quilt. Works great! Nancycog in MD |

Pati, in Phx. I got a can of temporary basting spray when I bought my embroidery machine. Sulky something or other (it's downstairs just now). Just yesterday I used it to adhere tissue paper with a quilting design to my Thanksgiving Quilt. It worked great. As soon as I was done machine quilting, I tore off the paper and it came off with no problems, and no noticeable stickiness on the quilt top either. Iris |
