Lost legs found! Not OT
In November I went off to a sewing retreat and had a great time. At the end
of March I went on another and had a great time...one problem, I couldn't find my legs! To my acrylic sewing table! I searched high and low and could not find those puppies. Now I'm getting ready to go on another retreat, I want those legs. I finally cried foul and phone the local Husqvarna shop where I purchased the Quilter's Kit ll to see if they could help me out. After a couple of answering machine tags, I spoke with one of the gals at the shop and e-mailed a picture of my table so they could see what the legs look like. [oh yeah, also about 4 phone calls to friends to try and locate an e-mail addy for the shop] Then I found a package of prints from the November retreat...YIKES...I suddenly knew where the missing legs were...sort of...I had stored them in a plastic box with some sewing machine needles and other gadgets. Problem was where was that box? Lying in bed last night I had "a vision" didn't I place them on top of another storage box under my sewing table? But I was just about to fall asleep and didn't get out of bed to check. Today I confirmed with the shop they could replace the legs and when I got home tonight checked under the table, and wedged behind a drawer were, you guess it...the missing box with the legs inside. YAHOO! now I can go away to Sorrento and piece my I can't believe it's a log cabin blocks with ease. Isn't it interesting how the almost asleep mind can find things? Now to go and pick fabric and find everything else I need for the retreat. I leave on Sunday morning and come home the following Saturday. This is the retreat I went to with Deni in Burnaby last year and we made the curved piece samplers. Thanks for listening. May you all find your lost items the same way. -- Sandi in New Westminster B.C. Queen of the Travelogues. ....travel is as much a passion as ambition or love L. E. Landon |

Considering my state of mind most days you'd think, according to your
theory, that I could find anything, including the lost city of Atlantis. Im glad you found your legs! Yay! Diana "shhdesigns" wrote in message news:JWkhc.191954$Ig.33046@pd7tw2no... Thanks for the well wishes at the retreat. It should be fun. Hope some of
the folks from last year are there again. -- Sandi in New Westminster B.C. Queen of the Travelogues. ....travel is as much a passion as ambition or love L. E. Thanks Diana,
I usually have a general idea where something is, I'm not the most organized person at home. At work that's another matter. Next goal is to purge and clean like some of those shows that are suddenly so popular. But first the retreat! -- Sandi in New Westminster B.C. I am getting worse and worse about putting things "in a safe place" and then not finding them for months! Glad to hear you found your legs! Enjoy the retreat! Bonnie |

Bonnie Thanks Bonnie, I get to drive through some beautiful countryside and through the mountains to get to the retreat. It's about a 4 1/2 hour drive but worth it. Fingers crossed that it doesn't snow on the Coquihalla like it did last year. Thankfully, it had melted in the worst spots before I got to it. Looked pretty on the trees. Where I'm going is close to where some our forest fires happened last summer. Should be quite a change in the look of the land. -- Sandi in New Westminster B.C. I thought about that, and decided if it happened that way it just meant I
could lose either set and still have the legs. I've also got another piece of acrylic that I want to have holes drill into to make a light table. So I may just purchase that second set after all. -- Sandi in New Westminster B.C. Queen of the Travelogues. ....travel is as much a passion as ambition or love L. E. I can say, unequivocally, that I have located my legs, right where I left them...and they are still operational! Most of the time, anyway! Now please don't lose your glasses!
