Default Thanks for Your Prayers

I finally got my surgery over with last Thursday and got to come home
Wednesday of this
week. It was pretty rough but could have been worse and I will just be
glad when I
start feeling human again. Something I had forgotten from when I had
bypass back in
2001, is the horrible depression that sets in after major surgery (for
some people).
Anyway, thank you all...I'm not turning cartwheels yet but I *am*
sitting here at the
computer reading quilty stuff and looking at quilting magazines and
that in itself is
a real improvement. The ability to eat real food for the first time in
months is going to
make a big difference too. Am hoping the doc ok's that at my followup
tomorrow.

Thank you all again.

Take the convalescence at its own pace. We have a tendency to rush
this and it's a bad idea.

Enjoy the peace and get plenty of rest. Plan those _real_ meals; you
will enjoy them twice, then.

Glad all is well, long may it continue so. Sending good vibes...

I had just been thinking about you and wondering what was happening with your insurance snafu. I'm so glad to
hear everything worked out and the surgery is over and you're back home again. I'm sure you'll be feeling
better very soon - take care of yourself, and good luck at your doctor's appointment tomorrow.

What won-der-ful news, Sherry. We were hoping and praying that your special
specialist had taken good care of you and that you were on the mend. Stay
gentle with yourself; we'll continue the prayers. Polly
