Default batik horses ready to quilt

This is what I have been doing during my two weeks of being snowed in. I
paper pieced this lovely border for my batik panel I bought last summer. I
was quite taken with the pattern when I bought it, but the picture on the
package didn't do it justice. Oh my! I haven't even basted it yet, I have
left it hanging on my design wall for days just admiring the batiks. Sigh.
Okay, now it is captured in a photo, and tomorrow I baste!

Oh, Karen!!! That is simply GORGEOUS!!!!! No wonder you have it
hung to admire. I love it- all the colors are wonderful and the PFP
border is stunning. WOW!!! Can I ask where you bought the center
panel of the horses? That is just breathtaking! I want one, too.

Head to your handy-dandy RCTQ Quilters webpage where Karen Queen of Squishes
is listed!

I wondered the same thing since all I saw was the piano playing webpage!

Got it! (Have to remember our group webpage!) Wow! That's wonderful
Karen! Did you design that setting yourself? I love it! I can think of a
couple panels I have that would look great set that way.
