Newbie looking for help with polumer clays
Hi everyone, I am new to the scene of polymer clays and have a few questions
that I hope some of you might be able to help me with. I have been using Fimo Soft to create my wine charm product that I hope to market to local stores one day soon - it is very easy to use and requires virtually no manipulation to create the charm. However, I have run into come difficulites as of late. I am trying to find the best products out there to do the following: - Glazing - I have been using the paint on Sculpey glaze - works fine but tends to take alot of time to complete. I have tried out some sprays to quicken the glazing process, but they are not going so well. Is there a product out there that I can use to glaze the baked clay that is faster than the paint on glaze? - I am also looking for a marker/paint pen that I can write on the baked Fimo with and not have smear once the glazing goes on. Does anyone know of a good mix of products for either of these two problems? - Bulk Fimo orders - I have recently received my first Bulk Fimo Soft shipment from a Supplier in the US, and I am completely unhappy with the product. The Fimo is exceptionally dry and takes me 10 times as long to maniplate to get it to a consistency that I can work with. Does anyone know of a good supplier that I can contact? Thanks for all your help, |
