Default simulating ice to add on baked clay

Hi...I am new to the polymer clay craft.

I would like to know what the best thing to use to simulate ice, which
I can add to items that were already baked.

I tried some epoxy, which was okay, but turned a little yellow, and
also had some bubbles in it. I've heard that maybe clear silicone
would work well? I guess there would be two types of ice: one that is
a cloudy and translucent, and another type that would be transparent
as for making icicles (something I would be able to form into shapes
reasonably well).

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
