Default Christmas time is coming

Where is the spew warning Polly ?
I will clean the monitor, but you can send me the Praline as
compensation, naturally I will take one of each as it is winter here.

Polly - the cookie fabric is just toooo cute! How festive that would be,
lining a basket of homemade treats, and tied with a pretty bow and a
cookie cutter.

OH! And I'm with Butterfly.... old fashioned please!

Anythin' bar the bourbon - bleuch! Do y'all reckon the bourbon would be
okay replaced with raspberry vodka?

Thank you Polly - a good store is any store that stocks 'owl fabrics'
in my opinion and since you asked - I'd like pralines, please and
thank you again in advance.

They're produced by RJR and for reasons obscure to me are in a category

I think we need to learn that every message signed by Polly has potential
spew qualities. She rarely lets us down. And I'm glad!

Wonderful gift ideas! Around here, everyone has to refer to
Christmas as "Hmm-Hmm" until at least the beginning of
October. LOL! Then again, maybe I'll get an early start
this year. Yah, riiight.

Default changing seasons Christmas time is coming

Howdy!

Taria: I didn't say it! Polly started it this time!

Got an email from the Ft.Worth quilt shop today:
"...Summer is almost over." Bullsqwatchy! And this woman knows it!
We have at least 2 1/2 more months of summer: what is she thinking?
(I reckon her memory has been scorched by now g).
I'm not even going to look at these magazines that tell me
"autumn is almost here" and tout the loveliness of seasonal sweaters
and new, exciting soup recipes-- good night nurse!

Kyle's Marketplace has some cute fabric, tho'. VBG

Yeah, I know. We love her anyway : )
We are having a bit of a cool wave here this week.
High 80's. DH reminded me we still have 2 months of
hot weather. DD was born the first week in Oct.,
same day as her auntie. Mom always said it was the
hottest time of the year here. Almost always over
100'. The last breath of heat and then things cool
down. I'm ready. I don't have the Christmas stuff
out yet but am looking forward to the build up around
Poly's joke : )

*snerk*
I agree... heat index here today was 114 F. It got DOWN to 80 F this
morning.... maybe by mid October we'll see the temps dip a bit... I hope!

designed!'

know much in the way of sweets I don't like : )

You better be careful with those cemetery stones. Years ago dad got one
that had been found on a jobsite. (not originally from that location)
He put it out in the back yard as a stepping stone cause it was pretty
and interesting. He started a trend in that once little town of Yorba
Linda. Many years later behind the house Richard Nixon grew up in
they put out a couple of marble slabs. Of course Nixon and his wife
were buried there but dad started the trend.

Did anyone mention that Mr. Esther is a good man? He sure is.

You know that spot the Nixon library/birthplace/burial plot is sits
on the same hunk of ground I went to grade school. The little house
Nixon was born in was the caretakers house out back of the school.
They tore down the school when they put in the museum. It is a
rocks throw from the house I grew up in. Probably my 'big' claim
to fame. LOL Even if you are not of the conservative persuasion
it is really worth stopping in to see if you are in the OC.
We try to think of dad as creative. He'd love a hug from you Pat : )
