Haven't been stitching....life too chaotic!! DD broke her leg and
had emergency surgery on it.
I had to drop everything and fly off to Kentucky for several weeks.

The first thing I did after arriving was tell DD's BF to hit the
road...she had been trying
to get him to leave for 3 months. He went to his mom's house, to
mooch off her, for a change.

BF died at the beginning of May.

DD is now in PT and doing well.

I sometime think about writing a book.

just me,

I am creating my own embroidery panel to use as
the front of a purse/bag...just got the design ironed on some
fabric and am about half done with the stitching.

I'd like to try a biscornu. I've seen them before, but for some reason
they are calling to me now. My very close friend of mine gave me all
her
buttons (she is giving all her things away...she has terminal cancer).
Some buttons are vintage...some simple and modern...but the buttons
are yelling to be on biscornu.

Just started it, and need to rip out one side - one stitch out, in one
direction. *Enough to make me weep.

In the corner, looking at me I have 2 x etui and smalls both by Betsy Morgan
awaiting construction.

Still working on cstitching the animals on DGD's blanket. Waiting for
TM to get back to see if she has a workable kitty pattern for me, but
still have a couple left to do.

Oops! That was more that 1 line! Well, might as well make it more.

By this time next week I should be a Grandma! DDIL is pretty
miserable. She's got some sort of itchy rash but they haven't found
anything she can take for it, poor girl. DS said at her dr. appt.
yesterday she was pretty swollen and her regular dr. said next week
they'll take her in and break her water. She's due June 8 so the baby
should be far enough along to not have any problems. Any good
thoughts for her would be greatly appreciated....

Joan
