Default Sewing classes in Los Angeles

Hello,

Does anyone know where in L.A. I can find a reasonably priced place to
learn the basics of sewing?

I have an old Singer machine, about 15 years old or so, and I think
it's fine for just basic stuff.

Thanks for your help,
Ellen

jr. colleges often have classes. Adult ed places might also.
Ask at local fabric/quilt stores and the folks there might
be able to help.

I know the Jo-Ann's super store at Porter Ranch has all kinds of
classes....from knitting, painting, to sewing -- both for kids and adults.
Reasonable. I go there all the time and I'm in West L.A.

But, yes, also check the Adult schools.
