I don't worry about propane - as you can get it 24 hrs a day, 365 days a
year... and i can do it in 20 minutes. When it goes out -I get a new tank.... pronto! Wellll, I own my propane tank and just get it refilled. I got superstitious after my mom, who just did trade-ins, had two go bad on her...the second one with a rather large BOOM. (Wrecked the outdoor shower at her vacation place and sent shrapnel into the concrete block wall.) Besides, my oxy guy has the lowest price on propane, so I just take the tank along when I'm getting close to what I think is low. The other problem out here is that on very hot days the pressure fluctuates when I'm getting low.
