ABEND -- Off to Worldcon!

Whee! We're going to Toronto for Worldcon! This will be my first Worldcon since
1998, and I was helping my partner behind the table at that one so I didn't get
to *see* any of the con. This time we're not going as dealers, just to have
fun... and to meet some of our Canadian online friends. Any beaders in the area
can reach us at the Strathcona Hotel -- the room is in my name (*legal* name,
see headers).

And on the way back, we're stopping off in Toledo to meet up with Tink and
Jeanne! This is gonna be SO COOL!

So anyhow, we're leaving Tuesday morning and will be gone for a week or so. If
there's anything I need to see, please cc me by e-mail.

I hope you have as much fun as I had at the one Worldcon I went to in Boston.
I can't even remember what year that was. As I was leaving, my dad said, "Say
Hi to my favorite authors for me!" Isaac Asimov was the only one on his list
that I actually spoke to, though.

I used to go to lots of science fiction conventions, but now spend most of my
traveling time on bead shows. Sometimes I miss the people I used to see at
them, but I know that a lot of them aren't going anymore, either. I used up
so much of my hubby's vacation time this year, I might have to have my son do
shows with me instead!
