tomorrow, 24 October. She is off line right now, because of the
painters and so on, but will come back Friday or Saturday

HI All & Thanks,
Yeah, I'm back & see your wonderful birthday wishes. My computer was
taken apart and in the garage for five days. eek I had to empty everything
out of the top three levels of my house for the new carpeting and vinyl to
start being laid on Monday. They finished up on Thursday, but my son didn't
come until Friday ( my birthday) to carry and hook everything up again.
Since I had the shoulder surgery in January, I didn't want to hurt my shoulder
again. Since my bedrooms and bathrooms are already painted, I can put all the
things back in there. Painters come tomorrow morning to begin painting my
entry way, living room, den, upstairs hallway, dining room and kitchen. Four
of these spaces have cathedral ceilings and I can't paint them. Just think,
by next week , I'll be able to put the whole house back together again.
I got lots of quilting things and fabrics from my friends, potted plants,
and wonderful gifts from my son. He also took me to lunch yesterday, besides
helping me put a lot of the heavy things back in the bedrooms. Later in the
day, I walked to the local high school Homecoming parade with neighbors. It
was wonderful having a parade on my birthday. Then they took me out for a
seafood dinner. I didn't get home until late last evening and was happily
exhausted.
I thank you all for your good birthday wishes .

Kris ( in northern Virignia, who has zillions of e-mails and newsgroup
messages to read & yes, I got chocolate and other good treats for my birthday
grin )
