Default Celestial Dragon -- how much floss

Hi.

I'm getting my ducks in a row to undertake TW's Celestial Dragon. Does anyone have any idea how much floss I'll need -- I'll be working it on 28 count, just like the directions state. I'm particularly concerned about the metallics, since I'll likely have to order. And I don't remember seeing a count how many beads listed in the instructions. Do I count those off the chart, or does anyone know the number?

One last thing, when using two strands of different color, do I just let them twist anywhich way? I do railroad, so my stickes are pretty flat, but my intuition tells me that I wouldn't want the color oriented the exact same way on every stitch, but to let the natural twist let them randomly orient themselves however they want to. I've never worked with two colors at once, but I have done a color and a blending filament, and that's how it tended to work.

Thanks!

On the amount of thread - I've yet to do a TW where I needed more than
one skein per color. I haven't done this particular pattern, but she
uses so many colors that I never ran out that I remember.

When using a blended thread, I let the colors flow the way they want.
I do make sure the threads lay side-by-side on top of the fabric to
get a smooth X, but which color is where doesn't matter. Just my
humble opinion.
