inattention to details is going to ruin my keyboard. Joanne, you're just going to have to adapt here. Do as I do, and stay completely away from beverages whilst reading these posts! It's much safer that way, I've found. Karen Maslowski in Cincinnati |

How far do we have to take this? There are some posters that I should know to exercise more caution when opening their posts, but that's not 100% effective, since so many others may or may not post something dangerous. It may be contagious. Perhaps I should look into getting a keyboard cover. A raincoat as it were. For prophylactic purposes. I wish NASA would hurry up and invent the Transporter, so that we could get a bunch of us together in one place without trying to use Kate's modem. I've had no luck with modems, have tried sending chocolate with no success whatsoever. That is funny, because I seen her do a show on different zippers, and she
did them by machine. I don't seem to have much problems when working with zippers, as long as I take my time with them now, they come out as good as I can get them. "The Cow Goddess" wrote in message ... i've given up using the machine for all zippers! especially after reading the article from Susan Khalje in Threads about 18 months ago about putting them in by hand. now i do all zippers by hand. angela -- The Cow Palace has moo-ved! http://webhome.idirect.com/~rouquinne/ |

Cea I thought sure that Kate would say, "Come over anytime!" But it is Sally that is scheming to get us across the Pond. It would be an experience of a lifetime. I once met with someone from the Internet (are you here, Lynette?) and it was a hoot! It was some years ago now, and we both were extremely careful to set the meeting in a very public place (you just never know who is on the other end of the computer, now do you? Could be Jason or Freddie or some other axe murderer.) Sally is quite right in all the details, for a sizable group, anyway. She's so good at it......she really should organize it, shouldn't she? Let me see....get a passport....get something that will knock me out for 13 hours of flying time....get lots of money so that I can get the ticket and eat while I'm there...... Maybe we should just all meet on the new QEII. We could cross the Atlantic either way. -- Joanne @ stitches @ singerlady.reno.nv.us http://members.tripod.com/~bernardschopen/ Life is about the journey, not about the destination. |

Let me just add that the US dollar is VERY low against the Pound Sterling at the moment (down over 40 cents last time I looked) so the UK would be VERY expensive for our transatlantic members.
