Default QSDS - Columbus, OH - anyone been there before?

The Quilt Surface Design Symposium in Columbus is literally just down the
street from me, but there is no way I can afford to take any classes or
anything (poor grad student :-( ). Has anyone been there before? I am
wondering if there is much to do or see if I just stop in and look around, and
if I can go to the vendor's mall without paying an entrance fee (although I
should probably stay far away so that I don't spend more money to add to my
stash!!). Any info anyone has would be great. Thanks!

Hi neighbor-I'm in Grove City. Yes, you can go to the vendor mall without
paying admission. You can also leave a bunch of money there. The classroom
doors are usually open so you can see the things people are working on.
It's way too expensive for me to take classes. Maybe someday.

Gen, is that the vendor mall we went to last year after the Symposium had
ended? I remember that we saved bunches of money because some of the
vendors had reduced their prices before packing up. Great shopping
experience!
