Default USM KP question

Hi everyone,

I've got the USM carriage upgrade with the new KP set. I can't find
the sheet that came with the new KP and want to try them out. The
question/problem is, I am not sure which side of the double-sided KP
is which!

I want to use the KP 3 side to make a scarf for someone. Should the 3
be facing up or down in the carriage to make sure I've got the 3 side
and not the 3.5 in contact with the bed?

TIA for any help.

Leah

If you want keyplate 3, the number 3 should go up. If you want 3.5, the
number 3 should go down.

But if you are making a scarf you might want to play around with it and
see which size you like best with the yarn you have chosen.

Thanks so much for clearing that up. I'm putting a note into my KM
tool box so I won't lose the information again. I'll do a swatch with
the 3.5 to see how I like it, as it may make the scarf softer.
