Default OT - Truce --Dianne Lewandowski!

Dianne, your and my personal living concepts are poles apart and we
will never convince each other, ' nuff said-

I do admire your web site and the beautiful things you have designed.
I also am a tea drinker and would like to have a real cozy rather than
wrapping my pot in a towel. So I may just have to order your kit -
after Christmas tho : o, my to do list before then is too long. I
may have bitten off more than I can chew, making a xs ornament for
each of my DG and their parents! Happy stitching!

Ahhh, but Barbara, we're really not poles apart. Our experiences are,
so I'm coming at this from a myriad of concepts rather than a narrow
concept. I've enjoyed the discourse.

Thanks for the kind words. But if you want to make a cozy with a
differently designed cover (such as canvas or counted work of some other
type), let me know and I'll send directions and patterns for the
"finishing" rather than the embroidery. It really is unique finishing
construction - and really keeps the tea hot for a very long time. :-)

Hey! I went to your site and didn't see a tea cozy. Where is it? I'm
VERY interested . . . I drank iced tea in Florida but need HOT tea
here in 'chusetts.

But I must tell you: I had a hard drive crash about 6-8 weeks ago. I
only have one pattern left of this cozy, and I must keep it until I
recover the instructions.

But if you just want instructions for how to "construct" it, this is a
*great* cozy that will keep things hot forever - and the cover is
separate from the cozy portion, for ease in washing and keeping your
cover (plain or fancy) from getting tea stains. THOSE directions I can
get to you readily, including the patterns. It's the embroidery
instructions, graphics, etc., that will take me forever to recreate.

It's a job I must get to, but I've been forced into a few other
directions. :-)

Dianne
