Update on Cotton Sateen
Read all the advice.
Then: I took courage in both hands and shoved the fabric in the washer on 40 degreesC quick wash. Used Persil non-bio and some baby-quality fabric conditioner. Put on Aga till nearly dry, then ironed using Faultless (NAYY) spray starch. Outcome: Has some creases, but has retained cripness, sheen and handle. Creases should press out, I think, when cut to shape (i.e. smaller acreage). Yippee! Going to mark it out this weekend... Now WHICH marker and template should I use? Love Nel (Gadget Queen) |

Blame the pain killers - had tooth extracted this am. Outcome: Has some creases, but has retained cripness, sheen and handle. Creases should press out, I think, when cut to shape (i.e. smaller acreage). Sounds good to go! Yippee! Going to mark it out this weekend... Now WHICH marker and template should I use? Depends...
