Cheryl, Have you tried the Seven Waters Trilogy by Juliet Marillier. I'll second that nomination as well. The books are a retelling (with some liberties) of the Andersen fairy tale "The Wild Swans." She does a really lovely job of it. Best wishes, Ericka |

Have you read any of the "Alex Cross" mysteries by James Patterson. I just
can't get enough of all his books lately, but especially enjoy the Alex Cross ones. Lorraine "Cheryl Isaak" wrote in message ... Just as above, a new author, a new direction Too frozen to garden, plenty of stitching time, but need a new "bed time story". Mysteries, historicals, futuristic, fantasy... It's placed in Georgia, I think. I really enjoyed those; I'll have to scrounge them out of the garage for a re-read. Yep, those are the ones ;-) Best wishes, Ericka |

"Sampler45" had some very interesting things
to say about OT - needed a good read or two: If you haven't read it already, "The DaVinci Code" by Dan Brown is great! I liked that one. -- "The universe is quite robust in design and appears to be doing just fine on its own, incompetent support staff notwithstanding. :-)" - the Dennis formerly known as (evil), MCFL |

Sorry - had nightmares after one of the early ones - won't read him again.

I read "Deception Point" and "Digital Fortress" by Dan Brown recently. He
wrote those before "Angels and Demons" and "The DaVinci Code". I agree with Karen, I've never read a bad Belva Plain book. I just finished the latest Barbara Taylor Bradford and am waiting for the latest John Grisham from the library. -- Tamara in sunny San Diego |
