Hi S,
Welcome to the group. I also have only been
quilting about 3 yrs. But I have sewed other garments
for me and my kids for the last 30 yrs. This is a fun
group. You will get lots of help on just about anything
you have a problem with. You can check out some
of my stuff on the link below.

Hi,

I just found this group. I started quilting about 4 years ago. I have
some health issues and there are a lot of days when all I can do is
look at my fabric (I do have a lovely stash ). But I am anxious to
learn more. I love applique, am learning machine embroidery --
including stippling as a quilting method. I just want someplace where I
can come and talk to other quilters and fabriholics and learn more
about my chosen crafts.

Welcome S, I've only been quilting for about 3 years, and have learned
so much from this group. Any questions, and there's always someone who
knows the answer.

It won't be long before you know everyone - its lovely having so many
friends.

Hi, S! Welcome to the group. There are people here with all sorts of
experience, from none at all to tons. And everybody gets a different amount
of quilting done, from none at all to tons! G

So, where is this lovely stash located? Be specific.

Welcome S - from another quilter in the Land Down Under.

I know people like to keep their privacy but could you give us a littlr bit
of a name or nick name? (LOL) I feel kinda rude just calling you "S", but
it's entirely up to you ofcourse.

Welcome S. We know everything. Just to prove it, ask any question and we
will give you at least two or dozens of different opinions. We can debate
for days on whether or not to pre-wash fabrics, whether they should be steam
or dry ironed. Sometimes we divide into hostile camps - make the Vikings go
sit on one side of the frame and put the Bernina fanatics on the other.
Never fear, peace is restored when someone brings out the chocolate. Polly

I automatically finished this in my mind as "and the Packers on the
other." LOL Guess that's what happens on the day of the Packer-Viking
game when you are a member of a family of Packer fans living in a
Minnesota Unfortunately, no one in my family is too pleased with the
way the game ended I don't really care, except that the rest of the
family is always in a better mood when the Packers win, no matter who
they're playing

and put the Bernina fanatics on the other.

Hi, "S" and welcome! We're so glad to have you here!

Just a few questions: What are your favorite colors, do you have
children/grandchildren, do you have QI's, what kind of quilts do you prefer
making, things like that. Pour a glass or cup of your favorite beverage,
pull up to the cyber quilting frame, and tell us a little about yourself.

Oh, and do you like chocolate, and what kind?

Hope you enjoy the group, I certainly do.
