Framing
I've painted a few pictures onto parchment paper and I have the frames to
fit. Any advice on the best way to frame? The parchment is thin, so can be busted through easily, so I thought I'd spray fix it to card stock, but how do I then attach it to the back of the frame? The best kind of glue? Thanks for any advice! |

Personally, I would carefully cut the picture to size, then apply a good quality craft glue to the back of the frame, in a very thin layer, then put the picture on and sit a weight on the frame. Of course, assuming a 1:12 size, it wouldn't have to be a heavy weight, but enough to prevent the parchment from curling as it dries and distorting itself and the frame. I would probably sit it on a smooth surface, face up, then put the weight on top of the frame. I don't think the specific brand of glue is critical. I would stay away from polyurethane glues or any of the yellow glues, though. -- Chuck *#:^) chaz3913(AT)yahoo(DOT)com Anti-spam sig: please remove "NO SPAM" from e-mail address to reply.
