Default 2-man retreat

I have packed so much stuff! A big box of fabric, papers and batting. A
smaller box of thread, notions, tools. A pile of books (to inspire my
friend, and for reference). And the sewing machine and an extension cord.

Oh, and a bottle of wine!

Food shop: happens on the way there :-)

I'm going to be doing hexagon log cabin placemats, in Christmas fabrics.

So, just decided with my friend, that we are having our own little
retreat on Saturday. Some would simply call it a sewing day, but we're
going all out!

Not sure what we are doing yet - she is a beginner, I've been out for
about a year, and we just have one day. I think placemats, because the
size is good and doable, and we can then use whatever technique(s) we like.

I might bring along a baby quilt that is 10 months late already...

Hope that your Saturday retreat was productive! I thought of you yesterday
as I was straightening up around the SM.
