new webshots album

Kind of OT, I've added a new album at webshots called 'Other
crafts' (yes I know it's incredible I do do other stuff than stitch :-
O) Anyway it's with crochet, lacemaking drawing and painting later.

Today I made a bracelet, the technique is called Tin thread
embroidery. Check it out at

The bracelet is very elegant. Is it embroidered or woven?

Your handkerchief reminds me of times gone by. I have a couple of hankies
in my stash, packed away with tatting thread and the right size needle to
make a few for gifts. Maybe I'll get them out and actually do something
with them.

The bracelet is very elegant. *Is it embroidered or woven?


This one is braided around a strip of leather, others can be sewn onto
wider strips (hence the embroidery part). It was really easy to make.
