Love the clowns!! Thank you.
One of my goals during this 5-week break was to learn needleturn appliqué. Thank goodness I'm only halfway through break because I haven't even gotten the DVD out of the case! -- Kay Ahr in NV http://community.webshots.com/user/kayahr to respond to me directly, remove "WESTHI" from the email address "nzlstar*" wrote in message ... http://www.fatcatpatterns.com/ applique and pieced bunny and carrots, teddy bears, dresden lions, hearts, flowers, bears paw, pinwheels, stars, xmas stocking, gingerbread men, chickens and roosters and 4 BOMs now in progress. nayy, jeanne |

get a move on girl, times'a'waste'n. once learned, you can do it anywhere too. whose DVD? just curious which method it shows. needleturn is easy enough, just a bit fiddly til ya get the hang of it. there are a few methods so if the one on the DVD doesnt work for ya, do not give up. it is such a beautiful finish, fudge'n is easy and you can make your own designs easy peasy too. there is no design you cant replicate with needleturn. fwiw, i use the cardboard from empty cereal boxes for templates. i make each shape in three sizes. i keep them for future designs. my templates are all what i call generic cuz i can mix and match'em to make so many designs. The Piece O' Cake DVD. I think I learned needleturn as a kid. I know I did
some kind of hand appliqué way back when. And I sure wouldn't have known how to use the blanket stitch on a sewing machine then. I don't think that stitch existed on machines in them days! I'm stopping the world and getting off for a few says -- back to Cincinnati to visit Mom. We'll watch some Lawrence Welk reruns and hopefully hit a few fabric stores. I'm actually looking forward to refreshing my brain by flushing it out a little. -- Kay Ahr in NV http://community.webshots.com/user/kayahr to respond to me directly, remove "WESTHI" from the email address "nzlstar*" wrote in message ... get a move on girl, times'a'waste'n. once learned, you can do it anywhere too. whose DVD? just curious which method it shows. needleturn is easy enough, just a bit fiddly til ya get the hang of it. there are a few methods so if the one on the DVD doesnt work for ya, do not give up. it is such a beautiful finish, fudge'n is easy and you can make your own designs easy peasy too. there is no design you cant replicate with needleturn. fwiw, i use the cardboard from empty cereal boxes for templates. i make each shape in three sizes. i keep them for future designs. my templates are all what i call generic cuz i can mix and match'em to make so many designs. Ooooh! Thanks for posting this site! I bookmarked it right away - too much
good stuff there and too little time to check it all out. I did download a couple of their patterns G and signed up for their newsletter. -- ME-Judy ajhusman at blazenetme dot net "nzlstar*" wrote in message ... http://www.fatcatpatterns.com/ applique and pieced bunny and carrots, teddy bears, dresden lions, hearts, flowers, bears paw, pinwheels, stars, xmas stocking, gingerbread men, chickens and roosters and 4 BOMs now in progress. nayy, jeanne |

Thanks Jeanne. Great site. Did you read any of the 'Family Dirt'. If not,
be sure to go to the bathroom before hand and not have any liquids in your mouth at the time. I think she needs a spew warning on her site for those!!! -- Charlotte http://community.webshots.com/user/charh108 "ME-Judy" wrote in message ... Ooooh! Thanks for posting this site!
