Default Maybe silent for a little bit

Hi All,
Just wanted to let you know that I may be silent for awhile - my DH received
a triple bypass yesterday and I'm spending quite a bit of my time at the
hospital. This came out of nowhere but he's doing fantastic.
I'll be sitting an stitching at his bedside - please send good thoughts!

Warm and healing hugs accompanying prayers from Australia. I'm sure the
serenity you gain from your stitching will aid his recovery.

When my DH was on the ventilator for so long 5 years before he died he was
unable to talk. He told me much later when I hung the BOBS ICU WH - made
during his hospitalization = that watching me with my head bowed over my
needlework was such a comfort to him. He said the scene was comforting
because it was so much like what he saw when we were home and he knew if I
was quietely sewing that he was going to be okay. He said it would have
scared him silly if he had seen me leaning over his bed and stressed out.
What he didn't know and couldn't hear was that what time I wasn't praying =
I was chanting the mantra "Don't scream - don't scream - don't scream..."
It gladdened my heart to know that I didn't add to his worry by my outward
appearance. I never lost it in his presence but I sure did when I was
alone.

Good news, Bonnie! I'm so glad -- but I'm still sending good thoughts.

FIL was 82 when he had his done 3 years ago. He's doing really well, so
I shall hope you get the same result for your DH Prayers and
(((HUGS))) on the way.
