Default Cleaning Beadmaking Bench

I know you all have heard what a messy housekeeper I am...

well the beadmaking bench got so bad - I could barely work at it
anymore.

I'd also been craving a change in the glass storage -
It took me over three hours to make this change over....

this is the bench before, with the old glass storage.

http://www.dragonbeads.com/benchbefore.jpg

see what I mean???? The old storage was round PVC... and I didn't have
enough space (more glass is stored on the OTHER side of the
workroom.... in another rack)

So - I made the square PVC (fence railing) setup -- (Mike cut them for
me last week)....
and unloaded all the glass from the old storage. I laid it out on bath
towels, in layers, on top of the washer and dryer.. LOL

Then I put in the new rack - and reloaded the glass. Bad news - I
should have made three more rows -- I still have glass on the other
side of the room... and I had to use part of the old system too. (I
have not re-sorted the boro-- and I'm debating making more square
storage instead of the round.)

but - here is AFTER
http://www.dragonbeads.com/benchafter.jpg

now the amazing part-- I took OVER SIX POUNDS OF SCRAP OFF THE
BENCH!!!!

wow - there is a metal worksurface under there....

I think it has been at least a year since the last cleaning....
ok
y'all can stop laughing now.
I HATE short ends... I really do....
I just don't have time or patience to deal with them. They are great
for pulling stringer, etc... but I just won't mess with them.

I'll ship any beginning beadmaker a 2lb plus box of short ends for the
price of postage...
send me your address and I will email you back with cost of postage to
your place... and you can pay via Paypal.
First come - first Served.

It looks great! Don't you LOVE the square holes for glass? I've gotten
completely anal retentive with my glass organization since I switched
over.

And isn't that a Tink Vessel Poster that I see hanging up there?

:-)

Cheryl, your bench looked like my bead table! I expect we'll be seeing
a lot more beads from you now that you can actually find your glass,
LOL!!

The short ends are gone - -I actually managed to scrape another box
together from some I had in baggies under the bench -
so another person got one too...

better y'all should suffer than me -- and I'm too frugal to throw them
away...

of course -this explains why I have absolutely NO STORAGE space left in
my quite large condo -- I find it difficult to throw anything away that
might have "value"
LOL
