Atlas Pasta Machine Motor and 15min limitation
Hi, Santa came early and got me a motor for an Atlas 180, and I was
reading the *abundance* sarcastic of literature that came with it, but one of the few things that came with it said not to run the motor for longer than 15 minutes at a time. Is that reality or just what's recommended? I realize that the motor cuts down on the time it takes to condition clay, but I can't imagine using my pasta machine for only 15 minutes at a time, or worse, using it for 15 minutes and then taking off the motor and hand-cranking. The literature didn't say how long the motor needs to take a "nap" in between 15 minute sessions, either. Anyone out there that can help?? Thanks in advance, TheDormouse |
