Default Lost messages, AGAIN... Please repost

Hi All.
You know the old saying, "to err is human, but to really screw up you need a
computer"...

Well, I did it again. I finally got the
submission address for this group working right again at this location (I'm on
vacation, using an old out of date laptop, so I needed to reconfigure everything
on the laptop to work). But for reasons I've still not figured out, I couldn't,
with the same dial up connection, manage to download emails from my other two
email accounts, and thought I'd get smart and set them up to forward to this
one. Except then I accidentally turned on mail forwarding from this one back to
one of the others (don't ask how I managed that... might have something to do
with some pain killers I'm needing to take just now... ), which set up an
enless loop. That's something computers, including mail servers, don't much
like, and they return the mail with a fatal error message. What that means is
that essentially, all the postings you may have sent to the group between now,
and last night, got permenantly lost.

Please resend them.

I promise I won't muck with the settings here again...

Honest... :-)

And if I don't remember to say it again, have a happy and safe new years.

I'll be back at home, on the cable connection and good computer, on Sunday.
Hopefully that will put an end to this foolishness on my part..

is that why all of my attempts to post were bouncing?

bottom line, if your cat doesn't act strange, eccentric, inexplicable
or some other varient of same, you've messed up and gotten a dog. --

Yes. Actually, I'm kinda surprised you actually knew they were bouncing.
That's good. I'd have expected people to send posts and never know something is
wrong, but apparently, the system is good enough to let you know, even with a
news posting.

Anyway, if you got bounced messages like that, the problem is now fixed. I'ts
safe to resend.
