I'd say to continue with the quilt as Mrs Gifford has a LONG way to go thru
rehab and not just PT. News media is trying to 'glamorize' how much progress
she has made without saying how much more she really has to go thru, but

I tried contacting Pati several times many months ago, but she did not
respond. Kate, the hug coordinator HAS tried to contact Pati several
times and has also not gotten a response.

I think the only one living in the Valley is Miss Butterfly and she's
on the far East side and Pati is on the far West side. Quite a distance
and I don't think Miss B'fly is as mobile as she would like. I'm up in
the mountains about 3 hours from where Pati lives. I'm leaving tomorrow
to go to Magnoliaville for a few weeks. Next time I am in the Valley to
visit DD, I'll try to remember to give Pati a call -- assuming that the

A small suggestion.

In family history research, I 'google' the person's name to see if there is
any news/info about them on the internet.
It might work for Pati if anyone knows her last name. I have had reasonable
luck looking for contacts this way.
