Dani's dad is at least partly German but I'm not sure what her mom is. One of these days I'll have to ask her about her mom so I'll know just how much German Addison is! lol In that case, maybe you can be "Oma"! sue -- Susan Hartman |

DS has made it known he doesn't like Addie, so she will be Addison. We told him to expect something very different when she gets to school! lol snip Joan You never know; I have a nephew named James who is now 23 (wow, time does fly, doesn't it?) and he is still James to his friends and has never been a "Jim" or "Jimmy". I also know a little girl from the library who was named Catherine and is still Catherine. I think she must be in 7th or 8th grade by now. :-) It depends on what SHE wants to be called. :-) She may surprise you all and decide she wants to be called Carlee! :-)) We all called both grandmothers "Grandma" in person and only added the last name at home so we all knew which one we were talking about. Whatever you're called, enjoy it all!!!!!!!!!!!! :-)) Liz from Humbug |

One of my mother's old friends went in for pretentiousness, and decided that her grandchildren were to call her "mamere' " *- *a bit out there for a woman raised in Brooklyn, and then in DC for the last 45 years. My sister thought Grandmama was a bit ostentatious. I guess this will be up in the air for a year or two until she actually starts talking! lol Hey - are you open to baby sweaters (as in I missed finishing them in time for the original target, but.....) Thanks for the offer! If they're newborn, probably not. She has *so* much stuff for that baby right now, she'll never get to wear half of it before she's outgrown them! If they're for older ages, email. me... Joan |
