Default Interested in a Fabric Block Swap?

I want to make a Tumbling Blocks quilt -- but need lots and lots more
fabrics! Thought this might be a good way to do it! I'm looking for people
who want to collect fabric in 3's -- all tone-on-tones.... in a DARK --
MEDIUM -- LIGHT combination.

Each person will need to purchase approximately 2.25 - 2.5 yards of
fabric -- prewash and press it!

..75 yards in a DARK ............cut into 6" squares
..75 yards in a MEDIUM............cut into 6" squares (standard true
color -- ie True Red)
..75 yards in a LIGHT............cut into 6" squares

all tone-on-tone.... (like Jinny Beyer type fabrics)

Stack them in groupings of 3 -- Dark on Bottom, Medium in Middle and the
Light Fabric on Top

Once I get 23 people (plus me) interested --- we'll get going! We'll do
each color on the color wheel -- twice! (12 * 2 = 24!!) Should make for a
nice variety! As soon as you respond -- I'll tell you your "color." When
you email you may request a color --but don't assume anything until I
confirm back to you! Then go get 3/4 yard of DARK, 3/4 yard MEDIUM and 3/4
yard LIGHT of YOUR COLOR in tone-on-tone fabrics. Your 3 should blend nicely
together in tone and contrast! Cut them up in 6" squares and mail them to
me! You should be mailing me 24 sets of 3 squares (each set 1 square dark,
1 light and 1 medium).

Deadline for enty is November 15 and deadline for getting fabric to me is
November 30th. That way I can get the fabric back to you by December 15th!

You'll also need to enclosed an ADDRESSED postage paid envelope (for the
same postage amount that is on the one you send to me!) All fabric squares
must be placed in a ziploc baggie and sealed as the chance for Snow in
Minnesota in late November is good -- and we don't want any soggy squares.

If you are interested or have any questions... email me at
. In the subject line please put TUMBLING BLOCK FABRIC
SWAP. The first 23 to RSVP are in!

This should be great fun! And if you don't want to do a tumbling block
quilt... these would be great for any charm quilt!

I hope we can get our 23 takers really quickly! Thanks!

Medium Colors will start with base primary colors (true red, true blue, true
yellow) -- in the bright family. Then do 1 lighter and 1 darker than the
