Default I AM HOME!!!

Should've read this before I went to the PO. I didn't want your
Christmas package to arrive at an empty house, so it's still sitting in
my dining room to avoid theft from your mailbox.

I'll strangle your mother, you strangle my father and adopted big
brother. Several years ago, when I was severely ill myself, they
decided to not tell me that Mom was in the hospital for observation. So
I'm calling the house for several days, no one's answering, no one's
returning the calls, and I'm thinking the worst.

Somehow in their male minds it made sense, that they were saving me
needless stress.

BigBro's wife has now promised that, to avoid a repeat of that fiasco,
she will call me if either parent is hospitalized.

it was the sheer inanity of the messages, from both of them, that drove me
crazy. I'm trying to get both DS and DD to places they're supposed to be
(hockey rinks got their power back right away and there were flush toilets,
so I didn't mind going), checking the house once or twice a day and working
