Default Hug Quilt

I want to thank all of you who sent heart blocks for the hug quilt for my
friend Tami, whose husband died suddenly. I've had midterms in school
recently and just haven't had the time to address the issue. So far I've
received over 30 blocks. Hopefully, in the next week or so, I can get the
time to put them all together. I will post pics as soon as I can.

On a side note..Tami delieverd a healthy baby girl just a few days ago.
Tami and her husband worked for the same company as my husband, and the
company allowed other employees to donate their PTO (Paid time off) to Tami,
so she can stayhome for a while with the baby and not lose her pay. From
what I've been told, the response was overwhelming, with A LOT of time
donated to her.

Anyhow..thanks again to all who have helped out, and I'll get pics posted to
the web ASAP.

That is so cool. These days it's hard to find a company like that.

That's wonderful news, Heather! A healthy baby and some paid leave --
at least she's had something good happen. Can't wait to see the pics!

That's great to hear that things are a little bit positive for her these
days. Seems she definitely deserves having a few people pull for her.
Glad to hear you received lots of hearts. Will be thrilled to see how they
all come together.

Thanks for letting us know about her new baby. All the people that donated
their time are guardian angels to this new baby. With all the bad stuff we
read about it is so nice to see that there are people in this world that
still know how to "do the right thing" and not expect anything for doing it.

Hugs, Linda
