Default Double Happy Dance!

I finally (took a year to do the hand appliqué) finished a quilt. And
DBF likes it enough that he agreed to hang it in the dining room.

Last summer--nearly a year ago--Suzanne Marshall did a workshop on her
take away appliqué for our guild. Finally finished that one block,
added some borders, quilted and bound it, and the result was a cute
little wall hanging.

And I'm getting close to having a sewing room. Two pieces of furniture
finished--the built in bookcase for my sewing, quilting, crafting books
AND my cutting table. With lots of drawers on both ends. Yippee!

Plus my walls are painted. One is a really bright blue-green DBF hates
it, but I think its fabulous.

Pics will follow--hopefully this weekend.

Maureen
