THANKS, JoANN!! I hadn't thought of that! What a great idea! I guess when
I've played with seed beads a little more, this things might occur to me. I
wouldn't have thought of that in a million years. Lol.

I love the bracelet and I wouldn't change that bead. Move your loop back
into the bracelet so that when it hooks, it's a solid bracelet with a
lovely accent bead.

Or just send the bracelet to me. I hate to see you in such anguish.

I love making these embillished bracelets. Here's one I did with pinks:

I'm not happy with the toggle. I'm either going to redo the loop, with
some
stretchy thread, and see if I can make it a little smaller, or maybe make
a
smaller bead for it. I love the bead, but when the bracelet is fastened,
the beaded loop is distracting because of how big it is.

Either that or I might look for a pretty, floral, sterling clasp or
something.

On a happy note, my little foster dog, Max (the black lab in a basset
hound's body) got adopted yesterday. Sounds like a good home for him.
The woman who adopted him has another "Low-rider." I'll sure miss him
though! If he didn't get adopted, I was going to ask hubby to get him for
me for Mother's Day.

I love that bracelet! It's so pretty and feminine.

I think the loop is just too thin, in contrast with the heft of the
bracelet. What if you made a multi-strand loop, incorporating some of
the pearls, and make the strand that connects the closure bead to the
bracelet chunkier, too, so that it's going around a thicker receiving
end, which will make it show less loop when closed? If that makes sense,
LOL!

I'm so glad Max got adopted, he seems like a total sweetie.

Luscious and Lavish! It's beyoutiful!

I have some leftover seed beads just about that color of pink from a
necklace I made for my niece, and some larger, darker AB clear
pinks. She'd love an embellished bracelet, and I've never made one.
What kind of stitch did you use for the base?

Thanks Kalera! I love the ideas you all are giving me. Funny that you
mentioned the loop looking thin. I saw a picture of one, I think in B&B,
and it looked like they did the loop in a row of Peyote, which I thought
looked so much better than just the single beads. I was thinking of trying
that.

It's a RAW pattern from B&B. You kind of make a triangle in the center.
I'll e-you off list, so let me know if you don't hear from me. I sometimes
have trouble with the spam blockers.

After reading Jo Ann's suggestion, I think she has it right... so
simple, and so perfect!
