I'm particularly interested in the archaeological dig but would like to know
where the finds are.

I also read "(it was the barking of his lapdog that gave him away)." as, "it
was the barking of his lapTOP that gave him away ... " !

Not really, probably hundreds if not thousands of items were recovered;
some just tiny pieces of stone. Displaying them would require some
serious conservation and other resources.
